The THK Blended Finance promotes an environment for exchange, development, collaboration, and dissemination of innovative blended finance solutions. Thematic groups explore and build on the key priorities, views and agendas on blended finance solutions.
THK Workstreams 2021
The THK Platform for Blended Finance members started work in May 2021 on three workstreams: “Transparency and Impact”, “Blended Finance in Developing Countries post Covid-19”, “Green, Social and Sustainability (GSS) bonds and Biodiversity”. The workstreams aim to align its objective with the G20 agenda, particularly with Indonesia’s G20 Presidency in 2022.
Covid Response
Working Group on Covid-19 and Blended Finance: In response to the worldwide Covid-19 crisis and with the hope of providing a timely and effective contribution on how to build back better, a select group of members of the THK Roadmap for Blended Finance published a working paper to inform discussion and action of DFIs, MDBs and Shareholders in building back better by providing countercyclical support for short term and long-term sustainable development.
THK Roadmap for Blended Finance
Between 2018-2020, five working groups worked on advancing blended finance in the five THK Roadmap action areas: Practice, Mobilisation, Transparency, Building Inclusive Markets and Impact. Compiling insights and inputs from a broad range of blended finance actors, the THK working groups developed a range of guidance materials and tools adapted for use by the broader blended finance community.
